Getting Started

Three months ago the dance community of Huntsville and surrounding areas were excited at the formation of USA Dance, Northern Alabama chapter.  Monthly dances are held on the second Sunday of each month, from 2PM to 5PM.   The entry fee includes a free half hour group lesson given by a local professional dance instructor. 

Three dances have been held to date and we have had a great attendance at each event.   Avid ballroom dancers are excited at the prospect of having One More Day To Dance and enjoy their favorite pastime of ballroom dancing.  So we encourage you to spread the word and invite your friends who might be interested in learning the art of ballroom dancing.  No experience or partner is necessary to attend.  As we say, it’s never too early or never too late to learn how to dance.
 
The chapter is in the process of nominating and electing its Board Of Directors.  We will announce the names and positions in the upcoming newsletter.  We encourage you to support the chapter by enrolling in its membership, which entitles you to many benefits.  It not only supports the chapter, but assists in its growth and its various activities.  We appreciate and thank all our current group of volunteers and members for their support.
 
USA Dance, Northern Alabama Chapter is planning a number of upcoming events and dances.  These will be announced as the dates are finalized.  One of the biggest events being planned is our big charity ball, to be held in January, 2010. 
 
We all know that any new club or organization can only grow and succeed with new membership and support from the local dance community.  So you are a vital part of this chapter.  Come and join the fun on the second Sunday of each month, because it gives us One More Day To Dance.
